After: Master Bathroom

Friends! I finally got my act together and snapped some photos of our master bathroom. I chuckle when I say “master” bath because it’s the furthest thing from large. There’s nothing “master” about it, but it gets the job done and it’s certainly a step-up from where we started, which was here:

Yes, everything was original. Everything. And amazingly, it was actually really, really clean. Where are we now? We are here….

As you can see from the photos, I still need a few pieces of art and some pops of color, but it’s thiiiiiis close from being 100% complete. I’ll share more details and source information with you later this week…stay-tuned!

I have been following your blog for a while and this is definitely one of my favorites! My friends used the same wall tile as a backsplash in their kitchen recently and I just fell in love with it! Great work!

It’s so calming and posh! I love the towel hooks the best. We also use towel hooks rather than bars because they’re so space saving! And I love the counter tops. Beautiful!

Beautiful and classic! Love it all. I don’t know why but I envision some sunny yellow and lavender accents in there.

Hey Kirsten!! I’m loving all your transformations! The house is coming together quite nicely! (: I was wondering if you could share where you bought the marble mosaic tile for the floor. I looked at the website you posted but they have a bunch of different styles and we really like the coloring of the stones. Do you have the actual name or url? We’re also buying a house and are redoing the kitchen and would love to use it for the backsplash. Also, where are those swing arm wall scones you bought for the kitchen? Thanks so much Kirsten!

Hi Patricia! I just used white shelves from Lowes, so they aren’t anything fancy. I’m sure Ikea ones would look great!
