Bare Bones
Yesterday evening was spent cleaning, dusting, scrubbing, sweeping and polishing. You see, our little kitchen gets to have a day in the spotlight – our small space will be smiling at the camera tomorrow, as Kitchen+Bath Makeovers Magazine is coming to our house for a visit! Rachel Haugo, the associate editor of Kitchen+Bath Makeovers© and Beautiful Kitchens and Baths, both of which are Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest publications, spotted our place on the Internet one day and we chatted and emailed and here we are!

We are certainly smiling ear-to-ear and are so excited to see what really goes on during a photo shoot. Our kitchen is down to its bare bones as the stylist wants a clean slate to work with. It almost looks like we’ve moved out of our kitchen completely. The below photos sure make me appreciate the power of accessories.
I’ll be sure to share photos of our kitchen professionally styled and “photo ready”. Keep your fingers-crossed that the shoot goes smoothly and our kitchen behaves for the cameras!
