I am a sucker for fabric.
After taking your wonderful advice and weighing my three fabric options, I put in my order and waited for my fabric package to arrive. Like usual, Premier Prints was speedy and last Saturday, my basement fabric arrived! And I like it. Phew. The colors are vibrant and I love the thickness and the quality of the fabric too. Here are a few quick pics I snapped of the goods…
The white fabric with the small and skinny blue stripes will be made into an ottoman cover (wish me luck) and the rest of the fabric will be made into fun pillows. However, after seeing the blue kimono fabric in person, I might have to recover a chair with it – it’s truly splendid. I did get a little stripe happy, but stripes are just so classic and fresh – I couldn’t help myself.

I’ve been look at Premier Prints – at your suggestion – for our ottoman, too. Is it awful if I want the same skinny blue stripe?! It’s just one of my all time favorite classic patterns.

I am loving the fabric choice especially the blue kimono fabric. I think it would look gorgeous on a chair, you should do it! I’ve considered it myself after seeing it in your blog post.
