Happy early Easter! Kyle and I are spending the weekend with family, and I’m pumped to delight in Easter’s little joys like candy eggs and Easter egg hunts. Thank goodness for my niece and nephew – they make holidays come alive. I’ll try and snap a few pics with the mighty Nikon and capture all of Easter’s goodness.
As promised, I am sharing more basement pictures with you. The before photos are scary gross, and the “after” photos are far from “after” – think of them as progress pictures.
Before
Progress
I’m sure you are wondering what the orange boxes are on the ground. They are serving as my furniture guide for now. It gives me a much better idea of how everything will fit in the space when I’ve mapped it all out. We still have lots to do, so no promises on official “after” photos, but I am hoping things will start picking up since we now have the nuts and bolts completed.
Again, happy holiday weekend to you. Cheers to chocolate, feasts and fun egg hunts:).

Kirstin, your basement is taking shape beautifully. I can already picture it with that colour palette you have chosen. I can hardly wait to see the final reveal!!!

The progress looks incredible. You totally inspired me with your earlier fabric options post and I went a little crazy at my local fabric shop. Now I have curtain and ottoman fabric!

Kirsten, I first saw your kitchen on AT. Unbelievably beautiful and it’s my current favorite “inspiration” kitchen. Maybe I missed the link to your blog there, but I actually found it during a search for your kitchen paint color : ) I love everything you have done and will be following along. I live on the east coast but have a similar house-in-progress thing going.
All the best,
Amy
