Are you looking for local, affordable art, with a good cause thrown in the mix? Meet The 100 Show, debuting this Thursday in the Wieden+Kennedy gallery space.
Here’s the back story: W+K asked hundreds of artists to submit a 10” x 10” piece of art with no restrictions on medium. The art will be on display in the W+K gallery space beginning February 2 and available for $100 each. Fifty dollars of each sale will be donated to MercyCorps and $50 will go back to the artist. Whatttta deal. Here’s a tiny snapshot of all the lovely pieces on sale tomorrow…

The only question I have is…why hasn’t someone thought of this before? It’s genuis. I guess that’s why W+K gets paid the big bucks. They are infamous for coming up with brilliant, yet simple ideas and executing them perfectly. I think they’ve done it again. See you there, folks!
