Morning, friends!
Firstly, thanks to everyone who stopped by yesterday from Young House Love. Your comments made me blush and were so, so kind. I always love new readers – welcome!
Today I’m featuring Paula Lopez-Otero’s beautiful pottery which I found via her etsy shop. Inspired by Scandinavian design, Paulova Ceramics are handmade in San Francisco and feature simple, clean lines. All of Paula’s pieces highlight some sort of contrast in textures, from the exposed raw clay body, to the interior smooth glaze, to the cork, which tops the jars.
My personal favorite pieces are these darling salt and pepper bowls. They come in a variety of fun colors and are of course handmade in every way. Wouldn’t they make a great housewarming present or a lovely gift for someone who loves to cook?

Paula’s creations also include candles (which come in a variety of scents) and other pretty bowls. She even has handmade garden stakes!

I love the handmade feel of these pieces – the hand stamped words such as “salt” and “sugar” are organic and turn ordinary clay into a memorable piece. Love!
