Chicago Store Spotlight – P.O.S.H.

Kyle and I were lucky enough to spend the 4th of July in the Windy City, and amongst sightseeing and eating and walking and laying on the beach, I managed to drag Kyle to a few home decor stores. Our first stop on the Chicago trail was P.O.S.H. Heaven, I tell you! I could have easily spent a fortune here, but flying and carry-on bags thankfully prevented me from doing so. Its eclectic table items and house goods are so fun to look at. I could have spent all day in the store, returned the next day, and still discovered new must-have pieces. Items here are not mass-produced and are truly one-of-a-kind.

I managed to snap a few photos…enjoy!

Me too! P.O.S.H. reminded me that China is truly beautiful! And very breakable…hence the fact that I don’t own any:).

Hi Katie! Thanks for stopping by RS! Truth be told, it’s all about the camera! I am a beginner photographer, and my camera makes up for my lack of knowledge right now:). I have a Nikon D200 and I love it. I bought it off Craigslist (it’s used) to save money and its turned out to be a good investment. I will say that it takes me a lot of pictures to get a few good ones, but I am slowling learning. I think photos are all about capturing both the big things and the little things, and I try to keep that in mind when I’m shooting. Again, thanks for visiting!

I have never heard of this place, but I can’t wait to go visit. I love little “hidden” stores like this. Did you happen to go to a store called The White Birch Trading Company on your visit to Chicago? I think it’s a newer one (less than a year) but it has the cutest things. If you are ever in Chicago again you should check it out!
