Or rather, I think this is more of a festive tablescape? With the absence of green and red, this table might actually be a better fit for New Year’s, but whatever the case, it’s sparkly and simple.
I gathered up a number of clear glass bottles, stuck some white Ikea candles in them, and carefully wrapped gold mesh netting around them and called it a day. I accented the table with gold chargers I already owned, short gold candle holders as well as gold napkin holders and white plates and napkins. Again, it’s simple, but a fairly stunning statement, especially when the candles are lit.
Again, it’s a quick and low-budget tablescape – the candles certainly do most of the work. It’s quite the contrast from last year’s table…
More on that tablescape here.
Believe it or not, I think I’m done chatting about the holidays around our house. Tomorrow, I’m changing my tune and we’re talking about my hair. Sounds thrilling, right? Happy Monday, friends!

So beautiful! Maybe not red and green but just the kind of table I would like to sit down to at Christmas. Stunning!

Any chance you’re willing to share where you got your table? I’ve been looking for something like it and haven’t found enough good options. Thanks!
