I had the opportunity to hang out with the beautiful and talented Leela Cyd Ross this weekend. She stopped by to shoot photos of our house for a full house tour for Apartment Therapy’s Re-Nest. Leela is full of life and energy and she’s crazy talented with a camera. I’m always superinspired by her work and genuine passion for what she does for a living. I must admit that I’m a little nervous about showing you ALL the nooks and crannies in our house, because as a design-lover, no room is truly complete or perfect. But I totally trust Leela and I know she’ll make us look good:).

I took a few action shots of her doing her thing in our living room  – it’s so fun to see a professional at work! The feature on Re-Nest won’t be up for a few months, but when it is, I’ll surely let you know. As for Leela and me, we became fast friends. We have a few ideas up our sleeve for some styling/photo shoots and I’m in the middle of trying to convince her to teach a photography class. Anyone in Portland care to join?
