Hooray for Friday! It’s been bright blue skies in Portland this week, making working indoors practically impossible. Of course, it’s supposed to rain this weekend – it always works that way, doesn’t it? Anyway, before I dive in to today’s post, I have a few housekeeping items to cover. Firstly, tomorrow is west elm’s lovely Etsy event. I sure hope you Portlanders can come! I’ll be by the store around 3 p.m., as I have a bridal luncheon to attend, but I am stoked to check out all the wonderful Etsy sellers and their beautiful goods. If you are planning on coming, don’t forget to RSVP here.

Secondly, I was going to wait to tell you until next week, but I can’t! Next week, RESTORED STYLE TURNS 1! In light of our one year anniversary, I have some fabulous giveaways lined up. I hope you’ll swing by next week and enter – I promise you won’t be disappointed:).

Okay, moving on…

Today’s post features a blog (a home in the making) and a gal who I admire from afar, even though she lives and works in Portland. I love Jenn’s blog and this little makeover takes the cake. I can’t get over it and must share it with you! Here are some before and after shots she shared of her back entry remodel. Enjoy!

Didn’t Jenn do an amazing job? To read the full story on this adorable and budget-friendly renovation, check out Jenn’s blog – a home in the making. I think my personal favorite detail is the aqua door with the antique sign above it -  such an unexpected, yet perfect combination. Lovely job, Jenn!

Cheers to the weekend, friends! Don’t forget to grab your birthday hats next week because we have some celebrating to do.
