I SPY! Velocity Art and Design

And we’ve made it through another week. Yes! As for my weekend plans, I have a hote date planned with Kyle tonight and then we’re hosting a little family dinner on Saturday. Truth is, I still haven’t figured out what I’m making yet. Any recipe ideas for me, friends?

Today I’d like to introduce you to Velocity Art and Design. Ever heard of them? They have a showroom in Seattle and a robust online store. With an aesthetic of “true present-day Modernism”, Velocity carries products that range from fabric to bedding to artwork and furniture.

I’m a huge fan of the fabric they carry, even though most of it is faaaar beyond what I can afford….

Gorgeous fabrics, as usual. The Duralee Hedge fabric in plum is stunning, too. Sigh.

Hey, do you eat meat? Maybe you could make a rolled up turkey breast stuffed with quinoa pilaf, or wilted kale, with a side of lemony artichokes and perhaps wild rice? Whatever is seasonal in your area will be the best tasting. Rolled up poultry is easy to make, looks fancy and is quite affordable, too. Have fun merry-making!
