After a little hibernating, I’m back. With a fresh spirit, I wish you all a happy new year. There’s something about a blank slate that gives me a pep in my step. You?
Speaking of fresh starts, our little living room received a mini makeover this past weekend. The holiday decor came down, and my beautiful new map (more on that here) found a home above our sofa. Along with a few new orange linen pillows, and an updated coffee tablescape, our living room got a nice facelift. Goodbye Christmas, hello January!
Although I do miss how festive the house felt for the holidays, it’s nice to declutter and start the year off with a happy and organized home. I’m still searching for a few patterned pillows for the couch, but for now, the plain pillows will do. Nothing else is new in the room, it’s just that I’ve rearranged items so the room looks less predictable.
What’s in store for Restored Style this year? Lots of good stuff, I promise. Cheers to a monumental 2012 and thanks again for reading!
