Remember last week’s post on our two-toned house? Well, I have bad news. The south side of our house looks even worse! How is that possible? Not only do we now have mismatched shingles (we had to replace a number of them), but the siding that is still alive has been scraped. And it’s ugly.

Here’s proof:

I think the worst part is about all of this is that we are putting the exact same style shingles back on our house, and to tell you the truth, I’m not a fan. But, I’m also not a fan of forking over tens of thousands of dollars for a new exterior, so I’ll live with what we have:).

And if wishes were fishes, these are the type of shingles that makes me SWOON.

So for now, we’ll just keep scraping and painting and hopefully make a small dent in this patchwork problem. One thing’s for sure…I’m really tired of painting.
