Sew Easy – Envelope Pillow Cover
Happy Memorial Day to you! I thought about taking the day off from blogging, but this little guy kept reminding me that he wanted his day in the sun…

Hopefully you remember my post on Modern Domestic last week? I took the “how to sew an envelope pillow” class and I arrived with just the below fabric (Sunglow fabric by Joel Dewberry), thread, and very little sewing knowledge.
Lupine was once again my patient sewing instructor and it was super gratifying to walk away with a COMPLETED project – my first envelope pillow! I’m hooked on sewing and can’t wait to whip out a few more pillows this summer. And when I do so, I’ll be sure to write out a step-by-step guide to sewing a cover like the one above. My new pillow doesn’t have a permanent home yet – I’ll keep you posted on where he ends up in the house.
Heads-up on tomorrow’s blog…Kyle and I went antiquing today and I can’t wait to show you what we found!

Love the fabric! I am thinking of a similar pattern to recover my chair we talked about…what do you think?
I am thinking a similiar fabric would be perfect – let’s get a fabric shopping date on the calendar soon!
