Good Monday morning to you!

Us Portlanders saw snow for the first time this weekend! It didn’t stick around for long, but it was sure pretty. In fact, it didn’t even stay long enough for me to snap some photos, but I promise, it snowed. I am hoping we get a few more snow sightings this winter, but we shall see…

Anyway, I wanted to introduce you all to Pointy today. It’s a print Kyle gifted me for Christmas, and it came home on Sunday from being framed. Originally, I was unsure if I wanted to frame it because a.) framing is so darn expensive and b.)  it would have been fun to just tack it on the wall somewhere and finally c.) framing is so darn expensive. Did I mention framing is really spendy:)? Even with a Groupon, I was *SHOCKED* at the price. But, since I had a little holiday money, I decided to move forward and custom frame the below print.

Let’s chat ABC prints today…I had to share a few of my favorites lately!

When I laid eyes on this print from Akimbo Design, I fell head over heals in love. The only problem is…I don’t have a baby, and I’m not pregnant, so I don’t really have a need for it in our home. Victorian illustrations and engraved lettering make this print oh so divine. And at $25.00, it’s a very affordable piece of art.

And for those of you folks who like a little more modern flair, I stumbled upon this alphabet art from Trendy Peas. It’s modern, fun and colorful – so perfect for a playroom!

And at $29.00, it’s another very reasonable art buy. Combine any of the above prints with an IKEA frame, and you are in business!

A few months back, I blogged about a poster I spotted online. It looks like this…

I loved this poster so much that I emailed Tad asking him if it was available for purchase. It wasn’t at the time, but Tad assured me he was working on something. Well, he emailed me yesterday out of the blue, letting me know that his lovely posters are hot off the press and up on his site available for purchase! I’m not sure how long they’ll last, so get thim while their hot…

The print is 1 color letterpress on off white paper and a version on brown paper. Each measures 7.5×13 and is signed and numbered. Purchase the white version here and the brown version here.
