It’s getting cold here. The kind of cold where I don’t want to get outta bed in the morning because our house is frigid and my bed is warm. But, we’ve still been able to harvest a few veggies out of our garden. Last weekend, we manged to pick peppers, melons, eggplant and tomatoes. This will surely be our last harvest of the year, but we had to get a few more homegrown veggies in our bellies before our first fall frost.
In other garden news, I picked fresh rosemary and it was a key ingredient in next week’s TGIDIYFriday craft. I love the way rosemary smells – so fresh!
I’m sorta sad to say goodbye to our garden. But, I am happy to say hello to pumpkin spice lattes and comfort foods like hearty soups and such. Speaking of pumpkins…we are heading to the pumpkin patch this weekend with my sweet niece and nephew…pictures to come on Monday:). Cheers to a wonderful weekend!
