Morning!
I’m back from beautiful Seattle and I finally had a moment to upload my photos from our Portland Blogger Summer Social last week. It was a lovely evening, and I’m so grateful I had an opportunity to meet so many wonderful and creative women!
Again, the event was at a fabulous boutique in Portland called Seek the Unique. This store has everything, including a massive dining table that Jenn and I could not wait to decorate! It’s even prettier in person, and when paired with an eclectic group of chairs, it’s a piece that you can’t get out of your mind. The goal for this event was to eat, drink and chat. No silly games, just quality time spent with inspiring women. What better venue for this than an antique 20 foot dining table?
We wanted to keep things simple and costs down, so Jenn handmade the table runners and napkins and I created the menus, place cards and flower arrangements. We ran with bright colors and let the table be the star of the show…
And in true Kirsten fashion, once the event began I forgot to take photos. I get so distracted once guests arrive – such a bad habit of mine! I did snap a few more photos of the food and guests, but not nearly enough to do this event justice.
