The Best Before Of All…

Boy do I have a good batch of “before” photos to share with you all today! As I mentioned last week, we’re in the midst of renovating our second full bathroom. I truly wish I could bring this bathroom to life because it is ohhh so righteous. We’re talking wallpaper, linoleum floors, pink ┬ácountertops, and so many other “special” details. Again, everything in this bathroom is original to our 1961 home.

Are you ready for this? Here’s a few of the before photos…

Your title sums it up! The wall paper has a cuteness to it though, looking forward to the “after”.

I seriously hope you are able to save a bit of that wallpaper to frame. In a weird way, it’s pretty fabulous.

Oh my goodness – looove your bathroom remodel! So cute! And it is quite the before/after! We are refacing the vanity as well…just picked out our marble remnant:). Good to know the vanity can be refaced and look as good as new:).

Wow, that’s a big undertaking. I agree with the commenter who said you should save a scrap of that wallpaper!

And to think, way back then, they thought “Wow, nailed it!”

Oh my!! That is as bad as the wallpaper my husband had in a bathroom when I met him. That was ‘little hot air balloons with baskets of flowers (instead of people) beneath it and a bow/ribbon that hung from it and blew in the wind’. That print was bad enough but add THAT IT WAS HUNG UPSIDE DOWN to that and I’ll just say that it was SURE something to talk about at cocktail parties!! Also had kitchen cabinets in primary yellow (I am NOT kidding!) and royal blue formica!! It had a HORRIBLE floorplan too. ugh!!!!

Still can’t believe it took be almost 6 years to change those. Hated them both so much, and looking back I can’t believe we lived with them that long. Husband couldn’t have cared less. He ONLY saw that the house had a ‘party yard’ (with pool) and the rest of it didn’t matter. lol
Needless to say, he hasn’t gotten to ‘pick’ a house since and he ONLY gets a yay/nay vote when it comes to decor. He can’t be trusted.
