This I know: I’m having a hard time blogging.
The ironic thing? I actually have quite a bit to blog about. New products to share. Paint colors I love. A few good recipes up my sleeve. But then every night, midnight rolls around and I have yet to blog. Does anyone else know the feeling?
Since I can’t put together a “real” post, I thought I’d just catch you up on life in dreary and gray Portland.
Here. We. Go.
My college roommate and dear friend got married last weekend. This called for a mini girls reunion in Portland. We drank margaritas. We shopped. We brunched. We celebrated our sweet friend at her perfect wedding. It was quite the time. I managed to snap just one photo at the wedding…
And that dress I was wore? It was wool. And hot. Not like hot, but like hot. I was sweating profusely. No fun.
Moving on. While helping my sis-in-law shop for her new home (which I can’t wait to show you – you will DIE with delight) I ran across this beautiful night stand. It’s a show stopper. If she doesn’t take it home, I will. Heck, even if she takes it home, I might have to order one too. It’s the Cortina Nightstand from Crate & Barrel, and I’m in love.
For heart day, I gave Kyle a staghorn fern from Anna Mara Flowers. I’ve been seeing them around town, and I love the organic beauty they bring to a room.
So far, ours (below) is happy and healthy and loving it’s new home on our living room wall.
And my new favorite paint color for Spring? Mizzle from Farrow & Ball. It’s perfect for a bathroom vanity – it’s soft but has a nice tint of color.
It’s somewhat similar to our bathroom vanity (blue gray by Farrow & Ball), but it’s a lighter color for sure.
How’s that for a random post? No promises for when I’ll be back on a regular schedule, but I do know…I WILL be back!
